Charles Schwab is mostly fine when it comes to fees, and a lot of the basic pricing stuff is easy to find. But there were a few details that felt kind of hidden, and I ended up clicking around longer than I expected just to confirm things. When I asked about it, the response felt like one of those canned apologies, which just makes it more annoying. I’d rather they just make the fee info easier to find in the first place.

Support was okay, but the experience didn’t exactly leave me feeling confident. Sometimes they were helpful, other times it felt like I was getting vague answers or being passed around. It’s the kind of thing that slowly makes you question whether you can really count on them when you need help.

"Easy enough, but I had some doubts"
Setting up the account wasn’t too hard overall, but the onboarding felt like it had way more steps than it needed. A couple of the screens were confusing too, which made me pause and wonder what exactly I was agreeing to. I got through it eventually, but it definitely didn’t feel as smooth as I expected.
"Trades are quick, which is honestly a relief"
I’ve been using schwab.com for my regular stock and ETF trades, and my instant reaction is usually just, “Okay, good, that went through.” Orders have been executing fast for me, even on those hectic market mornings, and I haven’t run into the random delays or glitches I dealt with at another broker.
The site took a little getting used to, but now that I know where everything is, it’s straightforward. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, but when I’m placing trades, I mostly just want it to work without making me second-guess anything, and so far it does

"Works, but the slow loading stresses me out"
The app works okay overall, and my trades do go through, but it can be slow to load sometimes. It’s more stressful than I expected, especially when I’m trying to make a quick trade and I’m just sitting there waiting for the screen to catch up.

I do feel like Schwab takes security seriously. The login alerts and extra verification steps make me feel better, and I haven’t had no actual fraud hit my account so far, which is obviously a relief.
That said, when I called about a weird transaction notice, it took a while to get a straight answer. It wasn’t terrible or nothing, but it did feel kinda slow and stressful when I was already worried.

My transfers usually go through without any trouble, which is a big relief. The only thing that gets a little frustrating is that the transaction processing can feel slower than I’d like sometimes. Overall, it works well, but faster processing would definitely make the experience much better.

i’ve been using schwab.com for a while now, and lately logging in feels hit or miss. some days it works like nothing’s wrong, but other times it just keeps spinning or sends me right back to the sign-in page. it’s really frustrating when i’m just trying to check something quickly. support has been okay, but the site definitely needs to be more reliable

I started using the site recently, and so far it’s been really easy to get around. After a few minutes, I was able to find what I needed without any trouble. It’s worked well for me every time I’ve used it.
